Just like Hogwarts in Harry Potter, where the Sorting Hat decides each student's house, we have our own cosmic houses named after brilliant stars. Each member is placed into one of three stellar houses, creating bonds that last throughout their astronomical journey.
Our houses - Andromeda, Capella, and Sirius - each represent different cosmic characteristics and foster unique communities within our larger astronomical family. From the visionary explorers of Andromeda to the guiding mentors of Capella and the brilliant dedication of Sirius members.
Andromeda (The Chained Princess)
Named after the constellation containing the famous Andromeda Galaxy, this house represents exploration and discovery beyond our own galaxy. Members of this house are known for their visionary thinking and ability to see the bigger picture. They approach cosmic mysteries with wonder and seek to understand our place in the vast universe.

Founder
The founder of the STEM Astronomy Club and Teaching Assistant at Zewail City discovered his passion for astronomy early on. Fascinated by star alignments in the sky, he began exploring astronomy through a Facebook page during preparatory school. Using a mobile app, he learned to identify stars and constellations. In secondary school, he joined an astronomy club, where he learned more and gave lectures, inspiring him to establish the STEM Astronomy Club to empower young enthusiasts to explore this fundamental science.
Whether you're interested in leadership roles or simply want to be part of our cosmic family, there's a place for you in STEM Astronomy Club.
